Whole Black Rice "Venere"

Black Venus Rice originated in Italy and began to be consumed in the late 1990s, but its origins are much older, in fact dating back to ancient China. Very versatile in cooking and unmistakable for its dark black color with reddish hues, it gives a whole new and genuine flavor to your rice recipes. Being whole-grain, and therefore unrefined, it has a higher content of fiber, vitamins and minerals, and in addition, the black color denotes the presence of antioxidants in the grain coating. Cooking time is longer than other varieties and is around 40 minutes.
