The Sauvignon Emilia IGT 'Come il vento', is a still white wine aged in stainless steel barrels.
Straw yellow in colour with greenish reflections, the bouquet is very concentrated and persistent with notes of elderberry and beeswax.
The Sauvingon from the 'Il Poggiarello' cellars goes perfectly with hors d'oeuvres, pasta dishes and fish.
In the middle of the Piacenza hills on the Poggiarello estate.
Sauvignon 100%
Pellicular cryomaceration. Fermentation with selected field yeasts at a temperature of 16-18°C. The wine was matured in stainless steel tanks. After ageing, blending of the wine, light clarification and final filtration.
Characteristics
Bright, fresh straw yellow colour with greenish reflections, typical, very concentrated and persistent aroma with notes of elderberry and beeswax. The flavour has a solid structure with ripe fruit interwoven with mineral notes. Great freshness.
Pairings
It goes perfectly with fresh and delicate appetisers, asparagus, raw and marinated fish, shellfish and soft cheeses. Try it also as an aperitif.
