Lambrusco Emilia IGT - "Otello Nero"
Otello Ceci Nero is the Lambrusco par excellence: unmistakable in its innovative square bottle, dressed in gold to convey all the class of the most typical Emilia, it is the symbol of the revolution that has made Lambrusco loved throughout the world. A Lambrusco that follows in the wake of tradition, but with important innovations in the art of vinification. The fresh, fragrant and perfumed flavour of the real original Lambrusco. Lambrusco Otello is an Emilian excellence; in fact, it is one of the most awarded Lambrusco wines ever, such as the Due Bicchieri Gambero Rosso award.
Produced in the town of Torrile, in the province of Parma. In the classic Lambrusco production area.
Lambrusco grapes 100%
The cultivation soil is clayey-calcareous with a medium texture. Vinification takes place in red, while alcoholic fermentation is carried out in temperature-controlled steel tanks with selected yeasts. Processing: Martinotti
Characteristics
Appearance: Intense ruby red colour, with a rich, lively and persistent mousse. The bouquet is intense, satisfying, sinuous. The fruity notes are reminiscent of cherry and berries such as blackberry and strawberry. Floral hints of violets accompany the pleasantly spicy and mineral finish. The taste is surprising and satisfying. The balance between softness, freshness, savouriness and good tannic texture is pleasant. The intense nature of the aromas is confirmed on the palate, which are enhanced in the long, deep finish. A promise kept.
Pairings
Otello Ceci is a wine that can play with countless pairings by varying the serving temperature. It is ideal for pairings with dishes that express a prevalent fattiness such as traditional Italian cured meats. It goes well with well-structured pasta and risotto dishes as well as with medium-aged cheeses or grilled meats. It also expresses itself perfectly as a meditation wine.
