Albana of Romagna PDO Dry - "I Croppi"

Celli Albana dry is a still white wine, made from 100% Albana di Romagna grape, winner of the 3 Bicchieri di Gambero Rosso award.

Fruity and enveloping, it combines its persistence with fish dishes and white meat, which can enhance the flavor and particularity. This wine is produced in the province of Forlì-Cesena, in the municipality of Bertinoro: the Albana grape has large and well spaced grains, pale in color and with thick skin.

Albana I Croppi is a pure Albana that rises on the hills around the village of Bertinoro. The vineyard is exposed to constant sea breezes, and has soils composed of silt, clays and sands, with plenty of active limestone and spungone (the limestone rock of organic origin that was formed in the shallows when the Romagna emerged from the sea). The grapes are processed exclusively in steel and always in steel the wine ages for about 6 months.

Characteristics

Golden yellow with light copper reflections, the scent is fruity with hints of yellow and orange fruits. The taste is rich and enveloping, good freshness, elegant, persistent.
