Compote of pears

The Luvirie compotes are produced using an innovative method: the fruit is steamed; an artisanal method that leaves the flavour and colour unaltered. The only ingredient used is pure fruit, because the compotes are absolutely free of added sugar. There are therefore no acids, pectins, jellies, colourings or preservatives that 'swell' or 'stretch' the final product. To produce 100 g of finished product, 160 g of real fruit are used. A healthy and natural alternative to jam and marmalade because it is sugar-free; through artisanal production in which innovative steaming preserves the flavour and colour of the fruit used. Every taste is an explosion of flavour, healthy and nutritious.

Luvirie is a purely artistic activity that is located in Riccione in the province of Rimini. Luvirie is a team, indeed a large family, united for the passion of good and healthy things. The choice of excellent raw materials is rigorous, expertly processed with classic and traditional recipes.

Characteristics

It has a yellow ocher color that tends to orange and is characterized by a good density. The scent is very fruity, fresh and intense, as if you were looking at a pear cut in half. The taste is sweet but never cloying, juicy, fresh with notes of both sour and ripe fruit.

Pairings

Excellent with all types of cheese both fresh and aged. Perfect for filling cakes and tarts, sweet fried biscuits, piadine romagnole PGI and tigelle. Ideal for rich and healthy breakfasts. You can very well replace this compote with real fruit, being absolutely free of added sugar, but produced only with real fresh fruit.
