"Savor" of Romagna jam
Savor di Romagna derives from an ancient history of the Romagna countryside, in fact it was a product made by farmers who wanted to preserve fruit for the winter period. It is a real jam made from cooked grape must and quinces. In the past, it was made from the fruit that had fallen to the ground, which, in order not to waste it, was cooked and mixed together to make a meal that was rich in nutrients, but at the same time very tasty and healthy. Very close to quince jam, (although the ingredients make it different) but also similar to a mustard, thanks to the cinnamon inside.
Luvirie's jams are produced using an innovative method: the fruit is steamed, an artisanal method that leaves the fruit's natural flavour and colour unaltered. Only two ingredients are used: fruit and raw cane sugar, nothing else. There are therefore no acids, pectins, jellies, colourings or preservatives that 'swell' or 'stretch' the final product.
Each jam is therefore a natural substance of the fruit and its price corresponds to the real value of the raw materials used: to produce 100 g of finished product, 120 g of real fruit together with a little raw cane sugar are used. The classic white sugar is also avoided in the choice of sugar, because 'unhealthy' substances are used in its processing.
Such a high percentage of fruit is immediately noticeable from the first taste, making such a jam completely different from others on the market.
Luvirie is a purely artistic activity that is located in Riccione in the province of Rimini. Luvirie is a team, indeed a large family, united for the passion of good and healthy things. The choice of excellent raw materials is rigorous, expertly processed with classic and traditional recipes.
