The Luvirie compotes are produced using an innovative method: the fruit is steamed; an artisanal method that leaves the flavour and colour unaltered. The only ingredient used is pure fruit, because the compotes are absolutely free of added sugar. There are therefore no acids, pectins, jellies, colourings or preservatives that 'swell' or 'stretch' the final product. To produce 100 g of finished product, 160 g of real fruit are used. A healthy and natural alternative to jam and marmalade because it is sugar-free; through artisanal production in which innovative steaming preserves the flavour and colour of the fruit used. Every taste is an explosion of flavour, healthy and nutritious.

Characteristics

Apricot compote with an intense dark orange colour, medium-bodied density and a fruity, sweet and aromatic aroma. The flavour is fresh and strong, sweet but not too sweet, with hints of ripe fruit.

Pairings

Excellent with mature, very tasty and savoury cheeses such as: gorgonzola, blue cheeses, spicy cheeses, pecorino, etc. Perfect for filling cakes and tarts, sweet fried biscuits, PGI Romagna piadine and tigelle. Ideal for rich and healthy breakfasts. You can very well substitute this compote for real fruit, as it is absolutely free of added sugar, but made only with real fresh fruit.
