Organic Mountain Raspberries in Syrup

For products based on the Wild Blueberry typical of the Modena Apennines and other wild berries such as raspberries, we have selected a landmark of our territory, the Azienda Agricola i Rodi. A family-run business located in Fanano on the Apennines in the province of Modena. Everything happens here: the cultivation, harvesting and processing of local fruits, amidst green meadows and chestnut woods. As is obvious for a business of this type, all fruit cultivation is organic and the production cycle has almost zero impact on the environment. The blueberry is wild, so it is only picked in the woods and not cultivated, while blackberries, red currant, black currant, strawberries and raspberries are both picked and cultivated. Everything is processed in a small on-site workshop, resulting in a small production of the highest excellence. The Azienda Agricola i Rodi, is one of the very few excellences that can boast the Modena Chamber of Commerce mark for Wild Blueberry products from the Modena Apennines, which assures us of its certified provenance and its unparalleled characteristics and peculiarities.

Characteristics

Raspberries in syrup characterised by a brilliant ruby red colour, with a sweet and persistent aroma of undergrowth. The flavour is sweet and intense, with slight sour tones given by the typical taste of organic mountain raspberries.

Pairings

A wonderful product for finishing desserts, cakes, homemade ice cream, yoghurt. You can also include it in fruit salads, or as a topping for panna cotta, mascarpone or tiramisu. Also excellent eaten on its own to end the meal on a high note with excellent, healthy and nutritious fruit.
