Each fresh ingredient is washed, cut and combined during cooking with sausage and the best porcini mushrooms, chosen for their intense aroma. The mushrooms are finely chopped and added to the sauce, which is cooked on a brazier and stirred by hand, to respect tradition and give the dish a unique and genuine flavor.
Porcini mushroom sauce with sausage pairs perfectly with soft polenta, which with its velvety texture welcomes the intense flavor of porcini mushrooms and sausage, creating an ideal comfort food for autumn evenings. Potato gnocchi are also an excellent accompaniment: their softness harmonizes with the richness of the sauce, creating a tasty and enveloping dish.
