Rosatum, white wine with roses, is a wine flavoured with rose petals, with an intense red colour due to the natural dyes present in the petals themselves. The original recipe, attributed to Apicius, the renowned chef of Ancient Rome, calls for steeping the petals of red roses of the Gallica variety in white wine for at least 7 days. The freshness and acidity of Trebbiano, the wine chosen for this recipe, combined with the skilful dosage of the precious petals, gives this drink a delicate, floral aroma and a sweetish, slightly tannic taste, reminiscent of ancient flavours now lost.
Liquorista Albimonte is a small artisan production reality, located in the beautiful medieval village of Saludecio in the province of Rimini, born from an overwhelming idea and great passion for historical reconstruction, the recovery of ancient traditions and the search for aromas, scents and flavors of a distant world almost lost that can not be forgotten.
