Mountain Honey "Acacia"
The acacia honey that we propose is produced exclusively in the heart of the Modenese Apennines, the ideal habitat for our bees. acacia honey is the most widespread, appreciated and known for its characteristics, such as its clear and bright straw yellow color, its enveloping scent with shades of chamomile flowers and its slightly vanilla and almond dolce. The flowering period of the acacia is May and given the unstable weather that could be in that month, the flowering could be ruined very soon. Precisely for this reason, acacia honey is much more precious than other honeys, which instead can be produced for a much longer period of the year.
This acacia honey is a real superfood, thanks to its goodness, but above all thanks to the richness of substances and nutritional properties within it, such as iron, calcium and mineral salts that are easy to assimilate. The Manfredini Beekeeping is located in Pavullo nel Frignano in the center of the Modenese Apennines where healthiness e the authenticity of the places is synonymous with a more unique than rare product. The quality of the honey depends a lot on the climatic characteristics and environmental areas that surround it, in fact this place is an area free of atmospheric, acoustic and light pollution. Far from cities and inhabited centers, we ensure to bees their natural habitat to be able to operate flawlessly.
Manfredini Beekeeping was born in 1922 thanks to Pio Manfredini, a real pioneer in the production and processing techniques of honey at an artisanal level. The history of the family continues from generation to generation, passing on secrets and passions; refining more and more totally artisanal processing techniques. Respect for bees and the territory are the fundamental cornerstone of their production. Honey is worked with traditional techniques that respect the physical characteristics to the maximum.
