Artisanal Acacia honey, from the hills of Bologna, near Castel San Pietro Terme, amidst acres of remote land, rows of vines, fruit trees and olive trees. Here the bees live in a natural environment, perfect for their lifestyle, where in fact they have always produced honey naturally. The result is a unique, inimitable honey, with a liquid consistency that does not crystallise, fragrant, with hints of flowers and green grass, while the taste is crisp, slightly vanilla and with aromas of white flowers. Acacia honey is rich in properties, vitamins and minerals, a comfort food that is good for your health.
This highly prized acacia honey comes from the Palazzo di Varignana farm, which is certainly one of Emilia Romagna's excellences in the production of EVO oil, wine from indigenous vineyards and artisanal honey. It holds agricultural land covering about 250 hectares in the hilly area south of the Via Emilia, in the municipality of Castel San Pietro Terme, in the province of Bologna, where bees can roam freely, among green meadows, woods, terraced vegetable gardens and fruit trees. An enogastronomic pearl of Emilia, where it is possible to stay overnight and spend wonderful days between SPA and wellness treatments.
Characteristics
Clear, straw-yellow colour, very bright. The consistency is liquid and does not crystallise, while the aroma is floral, fruity and silky. Its flavour is fine, with hints of vanilla and white flowers.

Pairings
Acacia honey is an excellent natural sweetener for herbal teas, infusions and hot milk. Wonderful spread on a slice of bread, preferably wholemeal, for healthy, wholesome and extremely energetic breakfasts and snacks. Perfect paired with fresh and medium-aged cheeses, such as our 24-month Parmigiano Reggiano. It is a really good and effective product for sore throats, low voice and inflammation of the respiratory tract. Also excellent as a natural liver cleanser. A product for all tastes and all ages: children, sportsmen and the elderly.
