The liqueur "Perfumed Heart" is a liqueur obtained from the careful and skilful distillation of a macerated alcoholic of fine berries and myrtle leaves left in maceration in water and alcohol for one night along with fragrant rose petals Gallic varieties, as described in the recipes reported in the treatises of the ancient Italian liquor of the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries, which in turn originates from the prestigious Scuola Medica Salernitana. The medicinal properties of Myrtle and Rose were already well known by both the Greeks and the Romans, who also used these plants in many culinary preparations and in religious rituals. The combination of aromas and scents of Myrtle and Rose, extracted and purified by distillation, gives this drink a refined and captivating complexity of olfactory sensations and back taste and a flavor decided and delicate at the same time.
