Characteristics

A blue cheese with an enveloping taste, made unique by the combination of its creamy texture and the aromatic intensity of Sicilian pistachios. The elegant blue veins give it a pleasant savouriness, perfectly balanced by the sweetness of the Pistachio liqueur from Bottega di Godega di Sant'Urbano (Treviso), which gives a velvety and slightly liqueur-like note. The surface is entirely covered with crunchy pistachio grains, which enrich each bite with a contrast of consistencies and a refined aroma.

Pairings

This cheese is perfect to enjoy with chestnut honey, orange honey or fig and pear jams, which enhance its complexity and sweet-salty contrast. Accompanied by fresh fruit such as grapes and figs or dried fruit such as walnuts and almonds, it offers an even richer taste experience. It pairs splendidly with aromatic and structured wines, such as a Gewürztraminer, a Passito di Pantelleria or a barrel-aged Chardonnay, while those who prefer reds can opt for an Amarone della Valpolicella. Excellent served on a gourmet platter with cured meats and multi-grain bread, it is also ideal for enriching creamy risottos, giving character to a gourmet pizza or adding an original touch to a fragrant focaccia.

The product arrives vacuum-packed and should be stored in the refrigerator at 2-8°C. Once opened, it should be consumed within 7-10 days, storing it in the refrigerator at a temperature between 0°C and 4°C. To keep its quality intact, it is advisable to wrap it in food paper or store it in an airtight container, avoiding contact with other cheeses so as not to alter its flavor.
